Lansdowne Crescent Fireworks November 2012 – by Stephen Wilkinson

Well, it was the 5th of November on Monday and the Lansdowne Crescent South Garden Association very kindly put on a fantastic fireworks display. I went along to represent YUVA Consultants, as our offices are located at 38 Lansdowne Crescent, and had a great time.

It was mainly an event for the residents and their families and had a real feeling of community spirit about it. There was a feast of meat being cooked up on the BBQ for hungry residents and several cheeky glasses of wine were had. I think it’s a nice idea for more people who work at Lansdowne to join the residents in events like this and get to know each other.

The fireworks display was properly good. I was expecting small fireworks and gentle bangs; however, most were enormous, loud and spectacular.

A fantastic time was had by all!
